This short triptych for organ is a meditation on a stormy dog walk at Godsfield – a hilly site in rural Hampshire, overlooking the Westernmost part of the South Downs near Winchester. Halfway through our journey, the weather grew increasingly more restless, the skies ever darker – purple & black, followed by heavy rain. On our return, the intense weather front began to clear, shafts of sunlight appearing through the murky clouds – an incredible scene. Dudley, the dog, unmoved, running ahead and looking forward to breakfast.
